Amy Szuba - Senior Search Consultant, CTS

With over 10 years of professional search experience, Ms. Szuba’s focus is contract and temporary to permanent staffing, primarily specializing in the areas of Information Technology, Accounting and Financial Services, Manufacturing, Engineering, Office Clerical and Administration, Customer Service and Sales & Marketing.
Experience and Expertise
Staffing large projects within various industries, both locally and
on a national level.
Helped implement a national in-bound call center with 20+ customer service
representatives. Coordinates candidate interviews, skills aptitude testing,
background/reference checks, drug screening and assist with new-hire
orientation process.
Specializes in assisting clients’ staff their businesses during cyclical times,
for special projects and to backfill for permanent employees.
Implements best in practice search process strategies.
Defines Scope and Objectives of clients hiring need then review business
and internal culture with position responsibilities and requirements.
Sources and Assesses prospects that match the client’s position requirements.
Conducts full service skill review using interview assessment tools.
Selects Finalist candidates based on skills, competencies and internal match.
Manages new hire transition through effective assimilation into the organization.
Counsels clients on the financial savings contract staffing services can bring
to their business including: eliminating payroll and payroll tax issues; reducing
benefit administration, unemployment and workers’ compensation exposure;
maintaining budget controls; increasing protection from lawsuits.
Education and Associations
She holds a Bachelors of Science in Business from Indiana University with an emphasis in Marketing and Management. She is a CTS --Certified Temporary Staffing Specialist through the National Association of Personnel Services. NAPS certification was initially established as a self-regulation vehicle for the staffing industry. Today it is the opportunity to expand the professional knowledge base in employment law, changing regulations, best business practices and the highest standards of ethics.
Ms. Szuba is active in several non-for-profit community organizations throughout St. Joseph and Elkhart counties. She is also an alumnus of Alpha Kappa Psi, a professional business fraternity.
