Elizabeth Muellner works with Career Transitions, a company that helps the unemployed get back into the work force.

She stopped by Take Charge Thursday to answer some questions that may help job seekers.

Elizabeth, what are the first things you have an unemployed person do when they come to you for help?

When asked what the first piece of advice they give an unemployed person seeking help is Elizabeth said, "Don't panic. They need to take a structured approach to their job search. They [need] to make sure they have the basic in place before they jump into the job searching – including a plan and a good resume."

"I don't think that the game has really changed, but most people really don’t know how to put a resume together. We like to put resumes together that shows how effective the person was on the job," Elizabeth added.
